Controversial Flip This House star Armando Montelongo took his San Antonio mansion off the market

Controversial reality show star Armando Montelongo has pulled a lavish, Dominion-area mansion off the market after spending nearly two months seeking a buyer.

The star of the 2000s-era A&E series Flip This House listed the six-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath property at the beginning of December for $1.2 million. According to Bexar County property records, the home was — and still is — owned by RETI Properties LLC, whose corporate records list Montelongo as CEO.

RETI withdrew the listing at the end of January, according to Realtor.com.

As noted in an earlier report on the 6,000-square-foot home, its flashy details certainly seem in lockstep with Montelongo's outsize personality. Case in point: the atrium's dual spiral staircases with leopard print carpet.

Montelongo has been a lighting rod for controversy since leveraging his TV stardom into business seminars promising to teach people how to get rich playing the real estate market. He's since been sued by former students and faced investigations by two state attorneys general, according to media reports.
