These holistic means of medicine evolved throughout the centuries, but remained true to traditional spirit. Curanderismo, a Latin American healing system, involves indigenous beliefs and rituals that have been used throughout history and is still being taught today. This system maintains the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of health by combining the medicinal use of plants and instinctive realm of the spirit. Living by a set of laws of interconnectedness, Madrigal hopes to inspire the San Antonio community to reconnect with the natural world and our ancestors, and through reconnection, to see the limitless value of our planet.
