This is the twelfth edition of the Puppy Bowl. For the uninitiated, the annual show features dozens of puppies from shelters frolicking in a mock football stadium for two hours. It’s exactly what you’d expect: Penalties are called for unnecessary “ruff-ness,” there’s a kitty halftime show, and one of the dogs is named MVP at the end of the night. Over 2.7 million people watched last year’s show.
Puppy Bowl XII will air Sunday, February 7 on the Animal Planet at 2 p.m. Check out the game’s full lineup here.
