Art in the Park: Layered Paper Art

Meet at the Outdoor Salado Classroom. Once gathered, the group will go on a short nature walk to gain some inspiration for the Layered Paper Art. Then they will return to the outdoor picnic tables to arrange materials and play with layering and cutting to make their artworks. Students will use images of native plants (since it's still technically winter) and basic techniques to try their hand at this classic artform. Phil Hardberger Park Conservancy is a Texan by Nature Conservation Partner.

 2. Mi Tierra Cafe & Bakery

218 Produce Row
"This was our first time at this restaurant in San Antonio and it did not disappoint. We were hoping to try the bakery as well, but the portions were so big that we were stuffed! The service was quick and cheerful. We enjoyed the mariachi band play "La Bamba" at our table. The ambience was festive and so much fun! This was the best Mexican restaurant that we've ever experienced." — JoAnne R.
