Mental Illness Awareness Week Art Show

VSA Texas presents the 2017 MIAW Art Show, an exhibition celebrating Mental Illness Awareness Week in October. The exhibition, which includes artwork by 20 artists with mental illness from the San Antonio area, opens with a reception from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30. Exhibition runs through October 7. Music provided by the Michael Waid duo. Join VSA Texas in celebrating the nationally recognized Mental Illness Awareness Week and recognize the artistic accomplishments of local artists with mental illness at this thought provoking exhibition that includes paintings, drawings, photography and mixed media.
