Strong Minds & Happy Hearts: A Conversation on Children’s Mental Health

This free event will help educate parents on children’s mental health and community resources. “Strong Minds & Happy Hearts: A Conversation on Children’s Mental Health” is hosted by One in Five Minds, a city-wide campaign to help eradicate the stigma surrounding mental illness in children and improve access to treatment. Breakout sessions will address topics including the warning signs of mental or emotional problems; mental health treatment options; protecting children from substance abuse; working with schools and police to help children; and finding support and respite resources.
