On Saturday, October 21, the San Antonio Public Library Foundation (SAPLF) hosts the 7th annual Catrina Ball, from 7 p.m. till midnight. This Dia de los Muertos celebration offers live music and entertainment, delicious dining and drinks amidst a swirl of Dia de los Muertos festivity. Monarch butterflies inspire this year's fantastical celebration, which commemorates SAPLF's 40th Anniversary. Dress is black tie with a calavera flair; dramatic makeup, extravagant headpieces, and creative fashions are de rigueur for this annual fundraiser. Silent auction, makeup artists & flower crowns are available at the event. Proceeds benefit SAPLF and our Library.
