World Heritage Festival - The San Antonio Story Exhibit Opening
When: Wed., Sept. 6, 6-10 p.m. 2017
The World Heritage Festival is an annual collaborative event to celebrate and promote San Antonio Missions, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and raise funds to preserve, maintain, promote, and connect. This exhibition will showcase the intangible culture of our San Antonio Missions in a “tangible” way, by contemporary artists through original pieces inspired by oral histories, cultural mapping, photographs, and maps. This exhibition is a collaborative effort of the City’s Office of Historic Preservation, Arts & Culture and the World Heritage Office.
