Elliott and Zapata, foodies and love birds
Talk about a power couple — former Spur (you may remember the Memorial Day Miracle) and Fox Sports Southwest commentator Sean Elliott and wife Claudia Zapata, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, are teaming up with the Boys and Girls Clubs of San Antonio for a wine tasting.
Slated for Thursday, March 5 at 6 p.m. inside Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar (255 E Basse), the fundraiser will include a tasting of six wines along with hors d'oeuvres. Elliott, a Boys and Girls Club alum, will also be a featured competitor with teammate Jason Dady as they compete in the Current's second annual San Antonio Flavor event also set for March 5. Tickets ($65) for Flavor are available here.
