SA ROCKS double dog dares San Antonio to save a canine’s life during their two adopt-a-pet events this weekend.
The first event kicks off at Fetch and Friskers Bakery and Bow-tique. This shop specializes in creating baked good for dogs, and helping out their K9 friends. From 11:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., guardians-to-be can mingle with all the dogs eligible for adoption. There will also be a raffle.
From 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the event moves to The Point: Park and Eats. This location is not only a rendezvous point for San Antonio's stellar food trucks but also a well-known watering hole with craft beers. Eating delicious food, drinking tasty beer and hanging out with your new "best friend" is a great way to spend a Saturday.
There are some very adorable pups to meet too. Lacey, with her golden sheen, looks curious to meet new people. Java Joe may look a little shy, but he will be there. Scout likes to wear his colorful scarves during events, while Jax likes to wear his big smile.
