The "Big Painting" Exhibition

Lone Star Studios is proud to present The "Big Painting" Exhibition. This group exhibition features an assortment of styles from San Antonio artists: AJ Rodriguez, Ana Burwell, Jesus Toro Martinez, Lauren Faske, Louis Vega Trevino, and Sean FitzGibbons. These distinctive and contrasting styles coexist together with one common characteristic - their large size. This exhibition’s concept was derived from the idea that less is more. Lone Star Studios wanted to present a show that was exactly as it appeared to be. The exhibition’s goal was to stray away from any unnecessary indulgence of artwork, just large-scale paintings. The mixture of different styles and concepts behind each of the artists’ pieces supports this intention.
