Gai dan jai or Hong Kong bubble waffles have made their way to Stone Oak with the opening of Bubble Waffle Bar's second location at 19141 Stone Oak Pkwy., Suite 501.
Opened by J.R. Gallegos, Bubble Waffle Bar first opened on the city's Northwest side less than a year ago. The new location, which features less seating than its predecessor, will serve the same menu of over-the-top milkshakes, bubble tea, and bubble waffles topped with ice cream, mochi, Pocky and more.
But Gallegos says the new location, which opened last Wednesday, will soon feature Dole Whip soft serve, and "Mexican gelato," ie gelato made with flavors such as Gansitos, Masapan, and rompope.
Bubble Waffle Bar is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday and noon to 7 p.m. Sunday.
