La Villita

La Villita, nestled on the south bank of the San Antonio River, was one of San Antonio’s first settlements in the 1700s. Lovingly restored in the 1930s, it now resides in the heart of downtown, and only a block away from the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center and the Hemisfair District. The village houses over 20 art shops and galleries and a few restaurants.
