Banking on the success of its November debut, Garage of Goods is back to offer more “fabulous finds for the frugal” from 40 local retailers, artisans, and independent vendors. While you browse for furniture, artwork, jewelry, plants, flowers, textiles, and new and vintage apparel, all at discounted prices, reps from the San Antonio Children’s Museum and the Royal Canvas Painting Parlor will keep the kiddos entertained with creative activities. As added incentive to indulge in a bit of open-air retail therapy, a percentage of GOG’s proceeds will benefit Home for Haiti, a local nonprofit that’s helping rebuild the home of 11-year-old earthquake survivor Bethlie Paul. $5, 9am-3pm, parking lot next to Josephine Street Café (under Hwy 281), 400 E Josephine. Leashed dogs are welcome; coffee and pastries available onsite.
