The San Antonio Police Department has accused 30-year-old R.C. Curtis of murdering a 75-year-old woman who was beloved by coworkers at the H-E-B she worked at.

Authorities found Paula Boyd's body last October after she didn't show up to work.

Homicide detectives accuse Curtis of Capital Murder and arrested him this morning at his apartment on the 5600 block of Evers Road.

Curtis was initially arrested on charges of credit/debit card abuse last November, the San Antonio Express-News reports. A police spokesman told the newspaper that DNA linked Curtis to the crime. Boyd died of blunt force trauma and strangulation, the Express-News reported.

News 4 San Antonio reports that Curtis is related to Boyd by marriage.
