Ford Holiday River Parade and Lighting Ceremony

One of the country’s only nighttime river parades, SA’s colorful kickoff to the holiday season boasts 122,000 twinkling lights that form a “magical canopy” for 25 tricked-out floats carrying bands, local celebs and plenty of cheer. This year’s theme is Holiday Celebrations around the World and Gordan Hartman, prominent philanthropist and San Antonio native, leads the parade as Grand Marshal.

 2. Mi Tierra Cafe & Bakery

218 Produce Row
"This was our first time at this restaurant in San Antonio and it did not disappoint. We were hoping to try the bakery as well, but the portions were so big that we were stuffed! The service was quick and cheerful. We enjoyed the mariachi band play "La Bamba" at our table. The ambience was festive and so much fun! This was the best Mexican restaurant that we've ever experienced." — JoAnne R.
