If you've ever wondered what a sexy version of Davy Crockett would look like, wonder no longer. One San Antonio artist dedicated a mural to the Texas hero – but with a twist.

Artist Matt Tumlinson shared progress of his mural on Instagram, first giving a sketch preview late last month. He told the San Antonio Express-News that the inspiration for the mural came from paying tribute to the Texas Revolution. He said he's a descendent of George Tumlinson, one of the men who came from Gonzales to help defeat Santa Ana.

Tumlinson was sure to share a video of early stages of his work.

He shared the finished product last week, tying into International Women's Day.

Tumlinson also shared a picture of himself underneath the mural – which you can see is even more eye-catching with the vibrant colors.

If you'd like to take your own snap with the mural, head on over to Woodward Lumber and Hostel located at 823 Fredericksburg Road.
