Victoria Tijerina's video "The Digital Deep" deciphers an underwater world by means of pixel pushing on the digital front. Experience this mesmerizing audio-visual interlude in which the layered images, color palette, and undersea sound-remix convey a new description of life sub aqua.
"The Digital Deep" will show at the international video festival LOOP Barcelona next week in a screening of student work from the UTSA New Media Program. SAMA contemporary art curator David Rubin awarded this video an honorable mention at the UTSA Annual Student Art Exhibition, Spring 2007.
