what's it/where's it? CAM mystery art pick, March 10

Hello, it’s Thursday, day 10 of  Contemporary Art Month. During CAM we are  posting a mystery art pic every day here at Artifacts. What is it? Where is it? We’ll get back to you on that

..if you know,  just leave a note below. Be the first to post the correct answer *on our website* and receive two free film tickets or appetizer coupons.

Yesterday's pic was part of  The Missing Peace: Artists Consider the Dalai Lama, opening this Saturday at San Antonio Museum of Art. The shoes in yesterday's pic are part of the exhibition preview open now. The shoes belonged to the Dalai Lama, and were given to Swiss artist Sylvie Fleury  for her work Easy Spirit. Fleury used a Kirlian camera using high voltage electricity to make a photogram. The  darting rays that seem to surround objects in Kirlian photography are thought by some to be the object's "aura," captured on film. When informed that his aura might  be seen  emanating from his shoes, the Dalai Lama is reported to have laughed, and noted that the shoes had been resoled several times, and the resulting aura might well be that of his cobbler.
