I know I've been sitting at the edge of my seat for a chance to get my hands on L&L Hawaiian Barbecue's Saimin Burger, and now we'll finally get to on Wednesday, May 28 at 10 a.m. at 1302-1 Austin Hwy.
The Hawaiian-based franchise shared the opening date today on its Facebook page. The Current had previously reported the expansion into San Antonio in February. The eateries are known for their fusion of American and Asian eats carries Hawaiian ‘cue, chicken katsu, kalua pork, Loco Moco (patties placed over rice, covered with brown gravy and topped with two eggs), spam musubi and a picturesque Saimin Burger.
