Lonesome Rose Opens This Weekend Inside Former Phantom Room

Get your dancin' boots, San Antonio.

Or you know, at least one of those shirts with the pearl snaps for the opening weekend of The Lonesome Rose Honky Tonk & Backyard, the latest bar to open on the St. Mary's Strip. The country outpost opened by Andrea Vince, Joey Cano, Miguel Delgado and Danny Delgado along with new partners Hillary Woodhouse (formerly with The Squeezebox and Esquire Tavern) and local musician Garrett T. Capps.

The bar was announced this August.

The weekend will feature a soft opening Thursday night with music by D. T. Buffkin, and Ruby Boots out of Perth, Australia; Friday night will feature a Tex-Mex fiesta with Croy and the Boys & Mark Weber Y Los Cuernos; and Saturday will cap things off with Garrett T. Capps y The Three Timers, Drew Moreland, and Rollfast Ramblers.

A $5 cover will apply each night.
