Shot of the Week: The Brain Hemorrhage

This is your brain on The Brain Hemorrhage.

My friend came to visit me this week; he told me about a shot that I just had to try, The Brain Hemorrhage. For a shot with such a gross name (that will make an excellent addition to your Halloween drink line-up), The Brain Hemorrhage is quite delicious.

To give this shot that bloody, gross look of a brain hemorrhage, you have to go about making this shot in a particular way. Pour the Peach Schnapps first, then the Bailey’s Irish Cream (to give it that brainy look), then the grenadine (which should settle at the bottom). You want to make sure not to mix the shot; otherwise the visual aspect of it will disappear. If you want to take your brain hemorrhage to an extraterrestrial level add some Blue Curacao and just like that, you have an Alien Brain Hemorrhage. Boom.

Try it at home.

The Brain Hemorrhage:

1 ounce Peach Schnapps

¾ ounce Bailey’s Irish Cream

¾ ounce Grenadine.

Pour into shot glass in that order; do not stir.
