Growing up in Texas is an adventure. There is the heat, the endless expanses and the wild nightlife. But, more important than that, all Texas children grow up with a firm understanding of the dangers of wildlife, snakes not the least of which. Of all the legless devils bellying around the prairies and creek beds, Water Moccasins may be the most prevalent and most dangerous.
This weeks shot is a testament to it’s namesake, a shot that sneaks up on you and punishes those who ignore the warnings. Smooth and just sweet enough, the Water Moccasin is a threatening vibration that, when abused, begs for a next day antidote.
Ingredients
1 ounce Crown Royal whiskey
1 ounce Peach Schnapps
1 ounce Triple Sec
1 ounce Sweet and Sour
Shake all ingredients in a shaker tin with ice. Serve chilled.
