The Land of Loops is weeks away from getting another locally owned eatery. This time, Lion & Rose British Restaurant & Pub will head to The Rim at 17627 La Cantera Pkwy., Suite 103.

The Rim location will join the other four in town (Broadway, Park North, and The Forum*) in mid-July, according to area manager Chris Royter. Though the pub will retain its U.K. vibe, a few changes are in store for the newest spot including 32 beers on tap, and a 1,500 square-foot patio.

The menu will also see a few tweaks so expect to find more contemporary items such as flatbread pizzas, vegetarian items, pasta dishes, a whiskey steak sandwich, new appetizers, street tacos and a new clubhouse salad. The interior is getting a lighter wood stain, along with a wall of TVs above the bar and around it for a total of 12.

This post has been updated to reflect the closing of the Stone Oak location last year.
