Where to Celebrate National Fry Day

Potatoes. Though they can be boiled and pureed, or sliced into rounds and topped with cheese and butter for a gratin, fried might be the go-to cooking method for potatoes and to celebrate the culinary achievement of the fry, three area restaurants are serving up specials for National Fry Day on Thursday, July 13.

BurgerFi will offer an order of free regular fries with any burger or hot dog purchase. Multiple locations, burgerfi.com.

Houlihan's is serving up bottomless Parmesan Frites (and regular fries) all day on July 13 only. Multiple locations, houlihans.com.
