Pop Artist Sasami Will Take Her Lo-Fi Sound to Paper Tiger in August
Facebook, Sasami
Jangly, poppy, pretty and at times, gritty at others, Sasami could well be your favorite new artist.

After getting her start in the band Cherry Glazerr, where she played synth, Sasami's solo work mines a pop-leaning indie-rock sound in the vein of bands like Stereolab and Girlpool.

And even though her music falls into the trendy emergence of experimental, lo-fi pop, she manages to mix things up just enough to stand out from her counterparts.

She plays Paper Tiger on Wednesday, August 7.

Tickets ($12) are on sale now and can be purchased at papertigersatx.com.
