If you’ve been waiting to learn who the speakers are before filling out your TEDx San Antonio attendee application—wait no longer. The deadline is this Saturday, September 15, 2012.
All twenty-one speakers are listed below in alpha order--not presentation order--with a short description of their topics. I've been told the organizers this year have paid a great deal of attention to the length and flow of the program, to make the all-day event enjoyable.

Dale Monnin--Drum circle--Our modern lifestyle and consequences for the future
Dan Norris--How to hear "Yes!" more often with the science of influence

These short descriptions are but a tease and don't give credit to the depth and power of the live talk. So, you must come hear them. What I learned last year, was while you think you might not like a certain speaker, he or she may turn out to be your favorite.

San Antonio activist and nonprofit veteran Laura Carter believes in enabling the community to work from the heart, not just the wallet. During her time at the San Antonio Area Foundation, Laura implemented new technology, managing website design and social media and content for all published materials. She is currently Communications Director at Providence Catholic School helping young women become Leaders, Learners, Women of Faith and Justice.
