Some tourists won't have a hard time remembering the Alamo after a San Antonio man recently streaked around the historic plaza.
Hector Melero, identified by San Antonio police, can be seen walking around Alamo Plaza on security footage from May 6. At first, a shirtless Melero pushes a stroller around before sitting down and getting naked. He then goes streaking through the plaza while still pushing the stroller.
That streaking didn't last long. An Alamo Ranger saw Melero and quickly tackled him with some help from a handful of tourists.

Melero later told police he stripped naked because "a black unknown male stole his wallet and tablet."
Bryan Preston, director of communications in the Texas General Land Office, told KSAT there have been "disrespectful episodes" like this at the Alamo.
"We need to think about this as a sacred site," Preston said. "We need to treat it with respect and reverence that it's due."
Police said Melero is charged with disorderly conduct.
