Tim Duncan fans, if you were already excited about this weekend’s Halloween Comic Fest at Heroes and Fantasies, you’re about to reach a whole new level of stoked. Tim Duncan is making an appearance at the event.
He'll be there to unveil Blackjack Speed Shop’s custom replica of the car featured in the highly anticipated variant cover issue of The Punisher, which also includes a cameo from the Spurs player/admitted comics geek. The tricked out custom car will be revealed at 12 p.m.
If that still isn’t enough to rile you up, then consider arriving early to Heroes and Fantasies in order to enter a raffle to win a chance to meet Duncan and have him sign your copy of The Punisher. Forty winners will be chosen at 11:30 a.m. Winners must be present in order to claim their prize (Duncan is the prize here).
Even if you don’t win the raffle, Mike Choi, the artist responsible who inked the issue, will be present at Comic Fest for signings also, which is still exciting. And if you do win, you can get double the signings. It really is a win-win situation for Spurs and comic fans.
