The crazy guys at Freetail Brewing Co. are teaming up with Bat Conservation International for a batty fundraiser on Wednesday, October 28 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Billed as A Night of Nocturnal Treats, the event will be held at Freetail's Tasting Room (2000 S. Presa St.) and will feature a slew of restaurants all serving bat-themed snacks. The list, which is still growing, includes Blue Star Brewing Co., The Granary 'Cue & Brew, Rio Rio Cantina and the Freetail brewpub.

Not one to throw a lame party, Freetail has also brewed a special concoction for the evening. The Belgian-style blonde ale brewed with agave nectar, flaked maize, papaya and guava, or Nocturnal Nectar, will be featured for that night and $5 from each bottle will go toward the organization, which helps protect these flying mammals and pollinators.

Tickets are $25 per person and are available through eventbrite.com. Admission includes 22-ounce bomber of Nocturnal Nectar and bat-themed bites.
