Fremonti Coffee Cart is the latest coffee purveyor on Broadway as of Wednesday morning.
The cart owned by graphic designer Robert Pecina and architect Daniel Rodriguez. The duo created Fremonti a little over a year ago as a way to combine their love of design and newfound knowledge of coffee.
Until earlier this year Fremonti had focused on events and catering, but they've become a late-night staple at Still Golden Social House, where they offer an evening jolt from 7 p.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday nights.
Morning service launched this week from 7 to 11 a.m. from Monday through Saturday in the new and improved cart, which serves a mean Carajillo (once guests buy a shot of Licor 43 from inside the bar), and more espresso-based drinks using Metric Roasting out of Chicago.
The cart makes four coffeeshops for the mile-long stretch from Jones to 2022 Broadway.
