A new dive dubbed Hoops Sports Bar will open next month inside the space that once housed Northeast San Antonio neighborhood spot Knuckleheads, news site MySA reports.

Hoops co-owners Victoria Cabasas and J. Moore told MySA that they will go all in on the sports bar theme, including round tables painted like basketballs and several 65-inch flat screen TVs.

Previously, neighborhood spot Knuckleheads occupied the space, but it closed in 2023 after more than 15 years in operation. Upcoming watering hole Hoops is slated for an opening date sometime in April, MySA reports.
