The quintessential bar food — savory, unctuous and just sweet enough — exists and it's making a comeback. Yep, the pan dulce burger will make a cameo at Faust on Sunday, October 1.
From 4 to 10 p.m., chef J.C. Rodriguez (Southerleigh Fine Food & Brewery) will pop-up at
Faust Tavern for a night of concha burgers vegan "wheacharron," and chorizo rice.
The burger with its beef patty, strips of bacon, gooey brie and strawberry jam will also be part of the menu at the upcoming Con Safos at Yanaguana Garden. The restaurant is a West Side-inspired joint by the owners of Hi-Tones, The Squeezebox and Faust.
