Slow Food South Texas Hosts October Farm Dinner

Sandy Oaks Olive Orchard (25195 Mathis Road, Elemendorf) will host the next Slow Food Farm Dinner on Saturday, October 12 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Chef Alfred Sanchez will menu that includes tomatillo gazpacho shooters; "South Texas Blini" - pulled pork open-faced gordita with cilantro sauce; local, grass-fed steak salad with bacon vinaigrette and crispy coffee-battered onion rings; seared Arctic char with black olive potatoes and melted baby heirlooms; fire-roasted lamb with grilled vegetables and blueberry balsamic raligote; and n olive oil brownie with blueberry balsamic ice cream.
