The march will start at noon at downtown's Milam Park, 500 W. Commerce St. It's one of more than 600 such mobilizations taking place in cities across all 50 states.
The protests come roughly a month after Texas passed a near-complete ban on abortion, now being challenged in court by the federal government. Other Republican-controlled states are expected to emulate Texas' law.
The San Antonio rally is organized by Planned Parenthood, Texas Organizing Project, Avow, The Lilith Fund, Southwest Workers Union, Women’s March San Antonio, Women’s March Central Texas and other organizations.
Speakers will include:

- Diamond Mason, spoken word poet
- Vanessa Martinez, abortion storyteller
- Amanda Reyna, Lilith Fund board member
- Sofia Sepulveda, Texas Organizing Project
- Mara Posada, Planned Parenthood South Texas
- Lori Stockstiel, National Council of Jewish Women
Marchers are asked to observe physical distancing and wear masks due to the pandemic.
