It’s been over two decades since DJs/producers Rob Garza and Eric Hilton have, with assists from a whole society of avid collaborators, invited listeners on the global musical journey that is Thievery Corporation.

The duo’s supremely chill electronic music ranges in flavor and styles from album to album, but they never fail to find a hazy sweet spot between stoned-out relaxation vibes and intimations of the dance floor. Using a mind-blowingly diverse spectrum of samples, Thievery Corporation offers up a sound that includes elements of dub, acid jazz, reggae, Indian classical, hip-hop, bossa nova and pretty much any texture of world music that exists.

Returning to SA for a show at the Aztec on Saturday, November 3 (in support of their latest album, Treasures from the Temple) the band is enjoyable to pretty much anyone. Oh yea, Julian Marley’s on tour with them so, you should def go, bruh.

Tickets $37.50-$59.50 go on sale Friday, July 27 at 10am and can be purchased here.
