Blake Shelton announced a free, surprise pop-up show in San Antonio this Friday, September 21 at Cowboys Dancehall, annnnnd we have feelings about it.
So, like, are we just going to forget that Blake Shelton tweeted “Wish the dickhead in the next room would either shut or learn some English so I would at least know what he’s planning to bomb!!”
Or how about “Standing in line at a coffee shop in LA talking with the man in front of me. He ordered a skinny caramel latte. I couldn’t tell he was gay!!!”
Or any of these screenshotted below:
You know what I find sexy in a man? "Being kind of shitty" and "being not very smart." pic.twitter.com/pyILzW0E18

While most of these racist and homophobic tweets have been deleted and Shelton has since issued an apology, it still sits weird with us, especially considering how large our Spanish-speaking and LGBTQ populations are in San Antonio.
But since we as a city show up to support other problematic artists like R.Kelly and Tekashi 6ix9ine when they roll through town, we'll most likely show up to support this dude too.
So, what does that say about us?
Fans can start lining up for wristbands at 10 a.m. and doors for the 21-and-up concert open at 6:30.
Another Surprise! Blake is also performing this Friday (9/21) at @CowboysDancehal !! You can line up for wristbands starting at 10:00am CT on 9/21! Doors are at 6:30pm! FIRST COME FIRST SERVE! 21+! - Team BS pic.twitter.com/TstqbmQD7u
