LOL, oh, Riff Raff, ya crazy guy, you. First securing our attention as a contestant on MTV’s From G’s To Gents in ’09, Riff Raff got the network’s logo tattooed on his neck, which basically meant he could use “MTV” to promote his mixtapes, use it on video-sharing sites and upload his tracks for free to social media listeners. Not to mention, Riff Raff even spit out his phone number in some of his songs, which garnered the attention of fellow odd-ball rapper Dirt Nasty, as well as Andy Milonakis.
By 2011, Riff Raff was signed to Soulja Boy’s label S.O.D. Money Gang Inc. Since then, he’s signed with Diplo’s Mad Decent label and released both mixtapes and albums. In 2016, Riff Raff even began his own label, Neon Nation Corporation. That same year, he collaborated with DJ Afterthought to release Balloween, which features guests spots from Skepta, Quavo and DJ Paul to name a few.
So yeah, this show is slated to be weird as fuck.
