After being recently inducted as a MTV artist, releasing 2015 videos "Low Low" and "Que Quiero" with fellow SA rapper 3Zone$ and opening for rappers Wale, Lil Debbie and Shabazz Palaces to name a few, Sam Rubik is reppin' the 210 and doing it justice.

In Rubik's latest video, directed by Jalin Morgan, he takes a minimalist  approach to hip-hop, substituting glitzy genre trademarks with subtle authenticity. "Just wanted to make things better for my family and all of my friends," spits Rubik, standing on the pavement reflecting on past mistakes and looking forward to future triumphs with the backing of his friends. The visuals' saturated hues of warm colors, sky blues and intense greenery never upstage Rubik, only amplifying the passions he shows with his body language.

"I Got Em" is a single from Rubik's upcoming full-length album ROMANCE, which will feature his Nouveau Riche Records label-mates Lonely Horse and Dijon Samo, with appearances from Texas artist 3Zone$ and Lajit. Yoshi Kondo appears on "If Tomorrow Never Comes," another tracks from ROMANCE that samples Little Dragon.
