These San Antonio Musicians Covered "Remember Me" from Coco and Now We're Ugly Crying

A San Antonio man named David Ramos does covers of video game songs and pop hits with – get this – an ocarina. You know, that oddly shaped instrument that sort of sounds like a flute or a recorder (remember that shit from elementary school?).

Ramos, who has about 202K subscribers to his ocarina-heavy YouTube channel, released a cover of "Remember Me (Recuérdame)" from Disney/Pixar's Coco last week. Just the first note alone will make you cry (don’t worry, we’re crying too).

Ramos enlisted the help of Joey Devine and Marc Lopez of the nerdcore band Bitforce for the song. He said, per his YouTube channel bio, that he was introduced to the ocarina through the 1998 classic The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and has since been busy learning the instrument, playing covers and original music and even traveling across the nation and overseas to share his passion for the ocarina with as many people as he can.

As far as this rendition, well ... we're all in our feelings.
