Soooo, T.I.’s coming to San Antonio for a night to not just rap for us, but to talk about his life?
Taking place at the Tobin Center, the event is a part of Icon Talks, an organization which, according to their website, provides “intimate discussion[s] with icons from various walks of life, from music moguls to professional athletes, CEOs, actors, and activists. The conversations will explore their path to success and provide a platform to engage, entertain and inspire.”
The “Whatever You Like” singer will be “describing his path, passion and purpose in life and its relevance to his success.” The onstage conversation will be followed by a 45-minute set of T.I.’s greatest hits.
So I guess it’s like a VH1 Behind The Music-type of deal, which, is pretty cool, and if you dig T.I., you probably won’t want to miss this.
"The charity event will benefit the Icon to Ican Charitable Organization which is a 501(c)3 non-profit. The Icon to Ican Charitable Organization’s mission is to provide mentorship and empowerment programs for underprivileged youth in underserved communities and children facing life-threatening medical conditions to help them cope with social, physical, and economic barriers they face in their life.
